Social media marketing for small and growing businesses. I plan what to post and where, run paid campaigns on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, and track the results back to enquiries and sales, so you can see what social is actually worth to you.
Small businesses posting without a plan, and anyone spending on social ads without knowing what they return.
Social media marketing is using platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok to reach, engage and win customers. It combines organic social, meaning the posts, videos and conversations on your own profiles, with paid social, meaning ads targeted at the people most likely to buy.
Most small businesses don't have a social media problem so much as a planning problem. Posts go out when someone remembers, on every platform at once, with no clear idea of who they're for. A short plan, a realistic posting rhythm and one or two platforms done well beat daily posting everywhere.
Organic and paid social do different jobs. Organic posts build trust with people who already follow you and show new visitors you're active and real. Paid campaigns reach people who don't know you yet, and can bring visitors back to your site to finish what they started. Most businesses need a bit of both.
None of it means much without tracking. I set up the Meta Pixel and, where it makes sense, Meta's Conversions API, alongside tagged links and GA4, so enquiries and sales can be traced back to the posts and ads that produced them.
Your profiles, content, audience and any past ads reviewed, with a clear view of what's working and what to stop.
The platforms your customers actually use, the goals for each, and a realistic plan for how often to post.
Posts planned weeks ahead around your offers, seasons and news, so your feeds stay active without last-minute scrambles.
Posts, short videos, graphics and captions written for each platform, in your brand's voice rather than a generic template.
Comments and messages answered promptly, so questions turn into conversations and conversations turn into customers.
Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn ads with clear goals, tested creative and audiences built from your own customers.
Meta Pixel, Conversions API, LinkedIn Insight Tag, tagged links and GA4, checked before any money is spent.
Reach, engagement, clicks and, most importantly, enquiries and sales, with what I'm changing next and why.

Organic and paid social aren't competitors. They do different jobs, and most businesses get the best results from a mix of the two.
| Compare | Organic social | Paid social |
|---|---|---|
| Who sees it | Mostly people who already follow you | Anyone in the audience you choose |
| Cost | Time and content | Ad spend, plus time and content |
| Speed | Builds gradually | Reach from the day ads go live |
| Best for | Trust, community and customer service | Launches, offers, leads and retargeting |
| Measured by | Engagement, reach and clicks | Cost per enquiry or sale |
Not sure where to start? A short audit of your profiles and any past ads usually makes the answer clear.
We talk about your customers, your goals, your budget and how much time your team can give to social.
I review your profiles and past ads, choose the platforms worth your effort and agree a content and ads plan.
Content planned and published, campaigns launched, and comments and messages handled as agreed.
Monthly reporting tied to enquiries and sales, with the plan adjusted around what's working.
Can't see your question? Send me a message and I'll answer it.
Usually, yes, if it's focused. One or two platforms, a realistic posting rhythm and ads aimed at a clear goal can bring in steady enquiries. Posting everywhere with no plan rarely does.
Social media management is the day-to-day work: planning, posting and replying. Social media marketing is the wider job, including strategy, paid campaigns and tracking results back to sales. I can do either, but management works best inside a clear plan.
Often enough to stay visible and no more than you can keep up with good content. For many small businesses that's a few times a week on their main platform. Consistency matters more than volume.
Not quite. Boosting is a quick way to push one post to more people. A proper campaign in Ads Manager gives you more control over the goal, audience, placements and testing, which usually means better results for the same spend.
Enough to learn what works in your market, and no more than you can afford to test with. I'll suggest a starting budget after the audit, based on your goals and what a customer is worth to you.
Yes. Facebook ads management is a big part of the work. Facebook and Instagram ads both run through Meta's Ads Manager, so campaigns can target either or both, with creative adapted for each placement.
Yes, for B2B businesses where LinkedIn's job title and company targeting is worth the higher cost per click.
If your customers are there and you can create short videos regularly, it can work well. I'll tell you honestly whether it's worth the effort for your business.
Yes. I plan the calendar and write posts and captions, and I can create graphics and short videos or work with your photographer, designer or team.
If you'd like me to. I can handle community management in your brand's voice, or set up a simple process so your team can reply quickly.
Yes. I start with an audit, keep what works, fix the tracking and restructure what doesn't, so you don't lose the history and data the account already has.
With the Meta Pixel and Conversions API, the LinkedIn Insight Tag, tagged links and GA4, so enquiries and sales can be traced back to the posts and ads that produced them.
Where it suits the plan, yes. In the UK, the ASA expects paid or gifted influencer posts to be clearly labelled as ads, ideally with "Ad" at the start, so I make sure every partnership follows that.
Yes. Ads about housing, jobs, credit and social or political issues face extra rules on Meta, including limits on targeting. I check what applies to your business before campaigns are built.
Paid campaigns can bring visitors from the first day, and it usually takes a few weeks of data to find what works. Organic growth builds more slowly, over months.
Indirectly. Social posts can get your content in front of people who later search for you, link to you or mention you. It works best alongside SEO rather than instead of it.
It depends on the platforms, how much content you need, whether you're running ads and whether I handle comments and messages. After a short call I'll give you a clear monthly quote.
Tell me where things stand and what you'd like to change. I'll reply personally with honest next steps.
